The Team

Working for Senior Finance Director, Finance System Intelligence & Simplification, the Manager, Finance System Insight & Simplification will support delivery of existing global solutions and identify, prioritise, and develop further Finance Operational Excellence opportunities, leveraging global finance systems.

This role is responsible for delivering and enhancing global management performance reporting for key business areas including Global Commercial, China, and Global Functions. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you will use Excel, Power Query, and Power BI to develop high-quality reporting tools and automated presentations that support monthly and strategic reviews. The position also plays a key role in driving finance operational excellence through simplification, automation, and transformation initiatives, while proactively identifying and resolving reporting challenges in collaboration with global finance teams.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate delivery of finance management reporting covering month end and strategic planning exercises across all Finance stakeholder groups to drive aligned, data-driven performance evaluation and decision making
  • Enhancement, simplification and automation or core finance management reporting to ensure seamless delivery and meet evolving stakeholder requirements
  • Autonomous development of simplification, enhancement and automation solutions as part of the Finance Operational Excellence programme, guided by ExCo and Global Finance Leadership priorities
  • High level of collaboration and relationship building activities across teams, departments & countries to drive process improvements. Enabling unique solutions for strategic decision making based on complex requirement analysis

What you’ll bring

  • University degree in economics/finance/management or comparable degree
  • Previous experience in similar roles such as Finance Partnering / Senior Finance Analyst in an above country function to understand global finance processes
  • Extensive knowledge of FP&A and accounting processes
  • Advanced Excel skills, notably in deploying management reporting solutions
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query and FP&A tools such as Tagetik would be ideal
  • Supporting planning and forecasting activities
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (ideally with implementation experience) - good knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Advanced teamwork and collaboration skills for cross-departmental global co-operation
  • Very high level of internal and external customer orientation
