Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Cash Flow & Profitability: Monitor cash flow and ensure profitability targets are met. Financial Strategy: Develop financial plans to support business growth. Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and manage budgets aligned with company objectives. Risk Management, Identify and mitigate financial risks Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee transactions and ensure timely payments. Tax & Compliance: Ensure VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax compliance. Financial Reporting: Provide insights to senior management for decision-making. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounts team, ensuring high performance. Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to UK financial laws and company policies. Collaboration with MMM GmbH: Align financial strategies and reporting with the parent company. Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in financial operations. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies. The Person Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred. Experience: 5-10 years in financial management and accounting, preferably within a £10M turnover business. Technical Skills: Sage 200 platform experience – Essential. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Accounting knowledge, deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Problem solving skills, ability to identify and solve financial problems. Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, and excellent communication.
