Finance and Accounting Manager –£50,000-£60,000– Yeadon, West Yorkshire The Role Do you have experience leading finance functions within a fast-paced, high-turnover business? We are looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager to lead the financial operations of MMM UK. You will be responsible for managing the accounts team, ensuring regulatory compliance and aligning UK financial operations with our parent company, MMM GmbH. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Cash Flow & Profitability: Monitor cash flow and ensure profitability targets are met. Financial Strategy: Develop financial plans to support business growth. Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and manage budgets aligned with company objectives. Risk Management, Identify and mitigate financial risks Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee transactions and ensure timely payments. Tax & Compliance: Ensure VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax compliance. Financial Reporting: Provide insights to senior management for decision-making. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounts team, ensuring high performance. Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to UK financial laws and company policies. Collaboration with MMM GmbH: Align financial strategies and reporting with the parent company. Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in financial operations. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies. The Company MMM has been operating worldwide as one of the leading system providers in the service of health since 1954. With a full portfolio of products and services pertaining to sterilisation and disinfection systems for hospitals, scientific institutes, laboratories and the pharmaceutical industry, MMM has positioned itself as a crucial quality driver and innovator on the UK and international markets. The Person Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred. Experience: 5-10 years in financial management and accounting, preferably within a £10M turnover business. Technical Skills: Sage 200 platform experience – Essential. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Accounting knowledge, deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Problem solving skills, ability to identify and solve financial problems. Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, and excellent communication.
