The Opportunity

Your duties and responsibilities will be
 Convert approved work orders into work packages (time, resource, material and access requirements, method statement, draft risk assessment and contractor support as required).
Prepare the weekly maintenance schedule.
Defines the scope of the job and initiates the permit to work process.
Prepares work plans, schedules, and maintains these on a database.
Prepares cost estimates for jobs.
Prepares purchase requisitions.
Will deputise (in the short term i.e holiday/sickness cover) for all other Maintenance Technical Planners as the business requires.
Implement SHE and Quality policy
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Minimum HNC and/or relevant maintenance experience
Project planning and scheduling experience
Proven track record of improving technical competence in their own area of discipline
Strong communication skills
Flexible approach
It’s great if you also have the following
Proficient in Microsoft packages and SAP
The setting for the role
Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a pharmaceutical and chemical site.
