Gainsborough - £38,500 £41,334 per annum + Benefits - (Any 5 of 7 days, 40 hours per week)

About the Role

We are working with an extremely innovative and ambitious world leading manufacturer of vitamins and supplements, a true Lincolnshire success story.

They are currently looking for an additionalMaintenance Engineerto support their growth.

This is a hands-on role where you will apply your engineering expertise to keep production running efficiently and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Maintenance Engineer, youll work in state of the art facilities and play a vital role in a fast paced business where vitamin and supplements are delivered to over 50 countries.

As a Maintenance Engineer, youll work with a wide range of equipment, including capsule, tablet, gummy and softgel manufacturing machinery, as well as packaging and blending equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & RepairsCarry out planned maintenance on production and packaging machinery.

Fault DiagnosisQuickly identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.

Process OptimisationContinuously improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Monitor production Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and work to improve these metrics.

Quality Control- Maintain a positive focus on costs, quality, and health and safety.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Level 3 Engineering Qualification (or equivalent) ideally cross-trade accredited.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical industries.
  • Hands-on experience with automatic filling, capping, blister packaging, labelling machinery.
  • Proficiency in ERP and Microsoft applications.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Ideally experience with various types of manufacturing and packaging equipment, including capsule & tablet manufacturing, gummy & softgel production, blending & packaging lines or metal detection systems would be useful.
