Key Responsibilities as Lead Engineer will be to:

• Be the frontline expert for all engineering needs, providing creative and practical solutions.
  
• Optimise machine availability and establish a robust maintenance schedule in line with TPM principles.
  
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement.
  
• Work with production teams to ensure seamless operations and hit internal KPIs.
  
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to reduce reliance and control maintenance costs through root cause problem-solving.
  What We're Looking For:
  
• Someone with a background in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  
• Hands-on experience with complex electro-mechanical products in fast-paced, made-to-order manufacturing.
  
• Strong problem-solving mindset, lean manufacturing expertise, and proficiency with 5S principles.
  
• A self-starter who thrives on influencing through example and builds effective relationships across teams.
  The successful candidate will have : -
  
• A passion for clean, efficient, and innovative work environments.
  
• Proven ability to deliver cost savings through efficiency improvements.
  
• Effective communication and decision-making skills with a flair for creative problem-solving.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and process mapping software.

• A salary circa £47,500
  
• 7am-3pm/10am-6pm rotating shifts - Monday-Friday
