Key Responsibilities:

Project Support Excellence:

  • Provide expert technical support for HPLC-based analytics, including troubleshooting equipment issues and refining analytical methods.
  • Contribute to project documentation through meticulous data entry and comprehensive technical report writing, including CAPA implementation.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of manufacturing processes, encompassing decontamination, equilibration of equipment, and buffer preparation.

Laboratory Oversight and Maintenance:

  • Ensure the operational effectiveness of lab equipment through regular maintenance, calibration, and cleaning, particularly HPLCs.
  • Manage laboratory consumables effectively by monitoring stock levels, maintaining the red card system, and coordinating procurement.
  • Oversee and execute daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks to maintain an organized and compliant lab space, including managing waste/recycling and testing safety showers.
  • Proactively identify and address issues of clutter, safety concerns, and inefficiencies, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement improvements.
  • Serve as a liaison to suppliers and clients regarding the logistics of material shipping and receipt, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to address mechanical and electrical issues within the lab.

Continuous Improvement and Transformation:

  • Lead shop floor optimization initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizens) to foster a culture of efficiency and safety, making sure that all concerns are communicated and actions are tracked to completion.

  • Proficient understanding of HPLC systems, specifically Waters and Agilent, with established troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and a strong technical orientation.
  • Excellent data handling and entry skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams, complemented by strong communication and diplomatic skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
