About This Role
This role involves delivering high-quality calibration services for process control equipment, both in the UK and occasionally internationally. Supported by a UKAS-accredited laboratory, your work will focus on the calibration of temperature, pressure, DC electrical ranges, and humidity. You’ll also perform fault-finding, adjustment, and re-tuning of control systems as required.
You will be expected to uphold strong health and safety standards, including the preparation of risk assessments when necessary, and ensure proper care of any tools or equipment used in your work. On-the-job training will be provided to support your continued professional development.
Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Calibration of process control equipment (electrical, temperature, pressure, humidity).
  • Field-based work across the UK and occasionally abroad.
  • Fault-finding, adjustment, and tuning of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Adherence to Health & Safety regulations, including producing risk assessments.
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained securely and in good condition.
    What We're Looking For
    Essential Criteria:
  • Proven experience calibrating process control equipment (electrical, temperature, pressure).
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence.
    Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience working in a UKAS laboratory environment.
  • Good fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems (including PLCs).
  • Previous experience calibrating relative humidity.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments.
