Lab Technician

My client who work within the education sector industry is seeking an experienced Lab Technician to join their team initially on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for a graduate in Biological sciences, or someone with a scientific understanding.

Key Details: Lab Technician

• Monday to Friday 35 hour week.
• Initially an 8 week contract.
• Pay rate of £13.94ph.

Duties and Experience: Lab Technician

• Support the grade 5 technician in the planning/organising of the laboratory to ensure the smooth running of the laboratory and services.
• The provision of specialist veterinary diagnostics including clinical biochemistry and haematology.
• Completion of appropriate external laboratory test request forms using information supplied by the clinical staff and students.
• Experience in a biological laboratory environment is essential.
• Experience in a relevant laboratory environment including clinical biochemistry and haematology.
