Hobson Prior is seeking an experienced Lab Technician to join a dedicated team. This role will focus on providing care for animals and supporting research activities. This position requires attention to detail and a passion for animal welfare.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Take care of animals by following guidelines and procedures.
  • Manage supplies needed for research.
  • Keep track of animal numbers and update their information.
  • Help with animal grooming and perform basic health checks.
  • Ensure animals have a stimulating environment.
  • Check that equipment is working properly.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven experience working and handling animals in a lab environment is a necessity.
  • Certification in animal care is a plus or willingness to obtain it.
  • Good communication and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently if required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is preferred.
