Laboratory TechnicianGloucesterc£28k per annumMonday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm Friday 8am to 2pmThe Laboratory Technician role is day to day testing and monitoring of the chemical production environment as per the testing schedules. Working with the team, the Laboratory Technician will perform the day to day testing and monitoring of samples; escalating issues and concerns as per the escalation process.The role –• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual testing as per the laboratory testing schedule• Communicate test fails and escalate issues as per the escalation process.• Make chemical additions to, and discards from, process solutions in a safe manner as per H&S instructions and procedures.• Work proactively to support production and inspection making recommendations and suggestions to address test fails in order to close technical issues in a timely manner.• Supporting quality and production during internal and external audits.• To look after laboratory equipment maintaining, calibrating, cleaning and testing sterility.• To order and maintain stock and resources.• To perform other duties as may be assigned by the line manager or as per the requirements of the business.The person –• Ability to work in an industrial laboratory environment• Ability to track and record data using relevant software and systems• Can manage timing to prioritise important deadlines• Ability to follow and work within laboratory processes and proceduresBenefits –• Competitive pension scheme• Life Insurance scheme• Employee assistance program• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays• HSF cash plan• Cycle to work scheme• Free parking• Birthday day offIf this role sounds of interest to you please click apply, or for more information you can email (url removed) or call our office on (phone number removed)COM1
