Due to the continued growth and development of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary R&D team, we have an exciting opportunity for aJunior Test Engineeron a six month, fixed-term-contract, to be based at our Head Office in Basingstoke.


The role


AsJunior Test Engineer, you will implement the V&V strategy in compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA QSR. You will develop process improvements to streamline test activities and enhance efficiency.


Key duties.


  • V&V test planning, execution and reporting.
  • Working with product development and other teams across the company to define testing strategies.
  • Developing detailed test plans per specifications.
  • Executing automated and manual test cases.
  • Evaluating, selecting and developing test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Ensuring that all test developments follow a disciplined engineering process.
  • Providing test forecasts and identifying test lab needs for future projects.
  • Communicating status regularly to peers and senior management.
  • Supporting preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Developing test procedures and work instructions as required by programs.


What are we looking for?


To be considered for theJunior Test Engineeropportunity, you will have the following:


Essential skills


  • BSc/Beng in Science or Engineering related discipline.
  • Previous experience in testing, preferably in regulated industries (Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or Aerospace).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple challenging, unstructured areas of responsibility.
  • A naturally inquisitive person and problem solver.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • You will be a team player and be a positive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude.
