Enviresearch Ltd delivers regulatory and risk assessment services in Europe, for the global chemical industry. Highly regarded for our technical and regulatory expertise, we pride ourselves on providing bespoke customer support. We carry out advisory, scientific, technical, and regulatory support work for our clients. We provide services in a range of chemical legislation, but our environmental team’s main focus is on the registration of agrochemicals (Plant Protection Products Regulation 1107/2009) and biocidal products (Biocidal Products Regulation EU 528/2012).

You will be involved in all aspects of projects including providing expert advice, data gap analysis, sourcing data, study monitoring, exposure analysis and application of bespoke risk assessment techniques. You will focus on the effects of chemical on the environment / ecotoxicology. You will join the risk assessment team at a leading Regulatory Science Consultancy and take part in an exceptional training programme – an excellent career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide environmental risk assessment expertise to help assess the impacts of chemicals on the environment in accordance with relevant guidelines. To prepare assessment reports and dossiers for regulatory authorities. To undertake data analyses and interpretations, literature review and searches for individual projects. Liaising and negotiating with commercial clients and regulatory authorities. Ensuring all standards are met and preparations, submissions and follow ups are carried out in a timely manner, to meet regulatory deadlines when applicable. Provide advice and support to the rest of the project team for environmental aspects of projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

PhD (or equivalent experience) in an environmental chemistry or eco-toxicology related discipline. Thesis must be related to ecotoxicology / environmental toxicology or the assessment of the effects of chemical in the environment. Strong knowledge / interest in the effects of chemical compounds in the environment. Innovative self-starters. Have good communication skills. Excellent attention to detail.
