Job Overview :
We are seeking an IT Program Controls Professional

who is passionate about delivering bringing cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technology on schedule, on budget and with excellent quality. In this role, you will work directly with the Program Head and Program Manager and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of AI scientists, engineers, and product managers who are working to develop and prototype innovative AI solutions. As part of the R&DS AI Innovation Hub Program, you will plan for, and monitor, control and report on, program development (early stage proof of concept and initial MVP work) of AI solutions. for IQVIA’s Research & Development Solutions (R&DS) business.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Planning:

Create, track, and maintain the overall program backlog, , schedule, resource/ workload plan and budget for the respective AI solutions. Planning will include technology development, business process design and handoff to scale-up/delivery components of the program.
Implementation Coordination:

Lead and coordinate all implementation activities of the Agentic squads. and support the Program Manager and Program Head in the analysis and resolution of emergent risks and/or issues.
Iteration Management:

Manage iteration backlog, oversee execution of iterations and iteration releases, facilitate testing, and client sign-off.
Progress Monitoring:

Monitor the Business Case progression and report status to the Program Leadership in accordance with a defined communication plan for each, including tracking and reporting of the program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), risks, issues and financials.
Change Control/Management:

Manage and document changes to the program's scope, schedule, and budget.
Escalation Management:

Escalate exceptions to senior management where observed. An exception may be a significant deviation from the schedule or resource plan, critical risks and issues, or non-standard methodology/documentation approaches.
Transition Management:

Plan for and facilitate a smooth transition of program deliverables to deployment stage and/or operational support teams.
Methodology Adherence:

Ensure that the program proceeds in accordance with the agreed program/project methodology and that all team members are trained and certified in the use of the program/project methodology.
Reporting:

Develop and maintain comprehensive program/project level documentation and reports, including status reports, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in program controls and project management, with a focus on software and AI technology development.
Proven experience working with, and supporting, Software Engineers, Product Managers and Product Owners.
Effective leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
Six Sigma, LEAN or PMI/PMP Certification is a plus.
Desired Skills:
Ability to manage multiple competing cross-functional technology projects/programs simultaneously.
Experience working with early-stage technology, especially AI related, development efforts.
Experience with technology Business Continuity Plan and/or Disaster Recovery Plan creation and annual test execution.
Experience with managing SOC 2 Type 2 audits is preferred.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent reporting skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
