Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedIT/AV/Smart Building Package Managerto lead the delivery of digital infrastructure and smart building solutions within our clients capital construction and retrofit projects. The successful candidate will serve as the key interface between project stakeholders, technical vendors, integrators, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of integrated IT, Audio-Visual, and Smart Building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT, AV, and Smart Building technology packages for new construction and major refurbishment projects.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (IT, Facilities, Engineering, Security, and Real Estate) and external consultants, contractors, and OEMs.
  • Develop and maintain package scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure all systems meet GMP/GxP compliance, cybersecurity standards, and pharmaceutical industry best practices.
  • Lead RFP processes, technical evaluations, and contract negotiations for IT/AV vendors and integrators.
  • Manage interdisciplinary coordination with MEP and construction partners to align infrastructure needs (e.g., cabling, racks, network spaces).
  • Oversee design review, testing & commissioning, and final system handover.
  • Act as technical SME for Smart Building integration platforms (BMS, EMS, lighting controls, IoT sensors, room booking, space utilization, etc.).
  • Monitor emerging technologies to recommend scalable and secure solutions that enhance operational performance and sustainability.
  • Support post-occupancy evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in managing IT, AV, or Smart Building systems in complex, large-scale capital projects (preferably in life sciences or highly regulated industries).
  • Proven experience with Smart Building technologies, integrated systems platforms, and IoT infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards such as PoE, AV-over-IP, BICSI, ITIL, and network architecture.
  • Experience working with project delivery models (e.g., EPCM, Design-Build, IPD).
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, ISO/IEC 27001).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (German, French, etc.) are an asset for global roles.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with enterprise-level AV platforms (Crestron, Cisco Webex, MS Teams Rooms).
  • Knowledge of Smart Building integration platforms (e.g., Niagara Framework, Microsoft Azure Digital Twins, Siemens Desigo CC).
  • Exposure to sustainable building certifications (e.g., LEED, WELL, SmartScore).
  • Prior work on pharmaceutical campuses, labs, or manufacturing facilities.
