About the roleLeadand provide expert advice on Infection Prevention and Controlpolicies and protocols across the organization.Virtually / Remotelyattend Infection Prevention and Control Committee meetings, WaterSafety Group and Decontamination Group meetings.Collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams, including clinical staff, to implementinfection prevention strategies.Provide expert microbiologicalconsultation to clinical teams, guiding antibiotic stewardship andinfection management.Support the development and training of staffin infection prevention and control procedures.Promote theapplication of high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, anddecontamination practices.Participate in clinical governance andquality improvement activities related to infectionprevention.Support research and development in the field of medicalmicrobiology and infection prevention.About youMedical degree (MBBSor equivalent).Specialist training in Medical Microbiology andInfection Control.Certification in Infection Control or equivalentis desirable.Experience working within Infection Prevention andControl in a hospital setting.Proven ability to manage complexclinical casesStrong leadership skills and experience inmultidisciplinary team collaboration.Excellent communication,organizational, and interpersonal skills.*The position is subjectto a successful disclosure at the appropriate level from Disclosureand Barring Service (DBS) and the provision of your right to workdocumentation.What we doHealthHarmonie is a business who believe infinding new and innovative solutions to give patients the bestchoices.
