Position:In-House Legal Contracts Manager

Role Type:Hybrid Working | Full-Time or Part-Time (4 to 5 days a week)

Location:Cambridge (hybrid working)

Salary:Up to £70,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus bonus & excellent benefits


Exciting new Legal Contracts Manager opportunity! You will play a key role in managing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts for our client within the Med-Tech sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supporting negotiations on contracts, including:
  • Master Service Agreements
  • Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreements (CDA's/NDA's)
  • Supplier Framework Agreements/Supplier Terms & Conditions
  • Intellectual Property Agreements
  • Maintaining and managing contracts with existing clients and suppliers, acting as a key point of contact.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel as required.


Candidate specification:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or non-qualified will be considered (law degree or legal qualification).
  • Experience in negotiating and managing commercial agreements.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and ideally GDPR principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial risk and contract management.
  • In-House experience in a commercial contracts.
  • Strong organisational and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience managing contracts in a consulting organisation.
  • Background in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

Personal Qualities:

  • Proven negotiator with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusting and effective working relationships.
  • Strong decision-making and influencing skills.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail.
  • Calm under pressure and able to work independently.
