Hygiene Manager

Orion are currently working with fast paced manufacturing company based in near Bidford Upon Avon. We are recruiting for an experienced, Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and pro-active Hygiene Shift Manager to work on a 4x on 3x off shift pattern.

Hygiene Manager Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage the hygiene Operatives on shift
Audit and monitor standards of cleaning to meet food safety regulations
Initiate robust investigations into out of specifications results/non conformances to drive continuous improvement in hygiene standards and microbiological performance
Perform requested corrective actions in response to out of specification microbiological results
Drive high cleaning standards throughout the hygiene department to be “Line & audit ready” at all times.
Teach the operatives how to follow the cleaning instructions cards to ensure that all machinery is cleaned correctly
Support the other Hygiene Shift Managers in delivering the hygiene goals and KPI objectives for the department with recommendations on methods and procedures to enhance performance.
Ensure that all hygiene documentation is kept up to date in preparation for audits 

Hygiene Manager Experience:

Must come from a food, beverage or pharmaceutical background to understand industry.
Strong knowledge of hygiene systems, cleaning practices, standards, chemical control, and procedures.
Knowledge of swabbing routines
Knowledge of CIC’S
Ability to Manage a team and ensure that they reach KPI’s
Knowledge of HACCP and the hygiene standards and practices required by third parties i.e. BRC, customer COP
Experience of working and achieving results cross-functionally in a continuous improvement culture.
Strong and effective team management skills and ability to influence and drive success
Strong communication, organization, planning and problem-solving skills.
Good computer skills and related software applications (MS Office & Gateway). 

Hygiene Shift Manager Required Qualifications:

HACCP Level 3
