Head of Quality

This is an outstanding challenge for a senior QA professional, who is looking to make an exceptional contribution to a growing and evolving advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing business, who are expanding UK operations in 2025.

Having exclusively partnered with this business in recent years to secure a number of critical hires, we are now seeking a new Head of Quality.

Overseeing all aspects of Quality Assurance across several UK sites some of the key objectives will include:

• Creating a strong culture of communication between quality and operations
  
  
• Hands on management of escalated site based quality matters as required
  
  
• Maintaining regular visibility across all sites
  
  
• Supporting the continued growth of the business by ensuring a strong and stable quality culture

  The position will be based remotely and not assigned to one facility – however, you will be expected to travel to spend time in person each site around once per month. Therefore flexibility to travel within the UK is critical. A car / car allowance will be provided as part of the wider benefits package to support this.

  Key experience:
  
  
• Strong and established quality assurance experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  
  
• Exceptional understanding and application of GMP
  
  
• People leadership experience, capability and desire is essential
  
  
• Technically must have hands on experience in an aseptic/sterile manufacturing setting
  
  
• The capability to virtually manage a team – previous multi-site experience would be helpful but is not essential if you have had this experience managing teams remotely.
