This small-to-mid-sized organisation is undergoing an exciting period of transformation and is seeking exceptional talent to strengthen its Quality Assurance team.

About the Role
We are searching for a visionary Director / Head of Quality Assurance / Qualified Person (QP) to take a pivotal leadership role within the organisation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role offers the opportunity to lead day-to-day Quality operations and spearhead a significant project to modernise the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

If you’re an experienced leader passionate about driving change, managing large teams, and establishing a best-in-class Quality department, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact. You’ll work closely with the executive leadership team to ensure quality processes align with the organisation’s strategic goals and growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Assurance function, including day-to-day operations and team management.

  • Oversee and deliver a comprehensive QMS modernisation project.

  • Serve as a key decision-maker in leadership meetings, working closely with senior management to align quality initiatives with business objectives.

  • Act as a Qualified Person (QP) for the release of medicinal products, ideally including liquid oral dosages.

    Candidate Requirements
    To excel in this role, you must:

  • Be a UK citizen or hold the right to work in the UK.

  • Have extensive experience as a QP on a UK licence.

  • Demonstrate at least 10 years of leadership experience, including managing large teams.

  • Have a proven track record of implementing and improving QMS.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in releasing liquid oral dosages as a QP is highly desirable.

    Location & Working Arrangement
    This role is predominantly site-based, requiring the successful candidate to work on-site near Liverpool, UK, for at least 4 days per week.
