My client provide a full spectrum of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing services, from early-stage feasibility studies to GMP clinical manufacturing. Their expertise spans a range of delivery routes. With a state-of-the-art facility and significant investment in growth, they are poised for further growth.

The Opportunity
As the Head of Manufacturing, you will oversee all GMP manufacturing operations at the company's Non-Sterile facility, driving innovation and operational excellence. You’ll lead a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory and quality standards while delivering on ambitious project goals. This is your chance to make a significant impact by shaping processes, developing teams, and contributing to the organisation's future in commercial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all GMP operations comply with regulatory and quality requirements.

  • Drive the development and qualification of processes, systems, and equipment.

  • Lead client visits, audits, and regulatory inspections.

  • Oversee scale-up, clinical batch manufacture, and technical transfer activities.

  • Manage and develop operational teams, fostering performance and growth.

  • Maintain the GMP facility and ensure environmental, calibration, and maintenance standards are met.

  • Ensure project deliverables are met to the highest standards and deadlines.

  • Collaborate with Project Management and Finance to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

  • Act as a key liaison with customers, delivering technical expertise in both internal and outsourced projects.

    About You

  • Proven leadership experience in pharmaceutical non-sterile manufacturing.

  • Experience with technical transfer and process scale-up activities is highly desirable.

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for investigational medicinal products (IMP); experience in commercial manufacturing is a plus.

  • Strong relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • A results-driven approach with the ability to lead teams and projects to success.

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant science, engineering, or manufacturing discipline.
