Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced, growing organization asHead HR, UK-Irl.

You will act as a coach and strategic yet hands-on HR leader, responsible for providing HR partnership in all key HR areas being accountable on providing a flawless execution of the full employee lifecycle including OD, workforce planning and driving culture & transformation. As Head of HR, you own the implementation of the Global HR strategic direction, leadership, and guidance in all aspects of people management to the function, in close collaboration with the Global HR Centers of Excellence and wider HR Community as well as with the functional leadership team to ensure that business strategy is aligned and embedded in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the Global HR strategy and policies to your market, including providing understanding and enabling alignment between HR and the function leaders
  • Partner with the Shared Service Teams, providing input where required and ensuring HR governance is maintained
  • Work closely with the Global HR Centers of Excellence to ensure that policies and processes are successfully embedded within your functions
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues across the Global Network to ensure delivery of global HR activities at a local level
  • Ensure that all legal, regulatory, and internal HR-related reporting requirements are met
  • Contribute to the Regional HR Governance of local policies and procedures in respect of labor law and market industry standards as aligned with global direction
  • Coach and develop the leadership team with relevant HR skills and knowledge to ensure they have the appropriate skills and knowledge to drive the business forward
  • Create, develop, and support the process of continuous improvement with the aim to reduce cost, improve quality and increase efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with statutory duties, regulation, and legislation. Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal, Code of Business Ethics, environmental policies, and general duty of care
  • Implement global HR initiatives locally to support the business strategy such as but not limited to culture, employee engagement, performance management, talent management and development, total rewards
  • Foster strong business partner relationships with key leaders and interface with HR Leaders to ensure full insight and high level of business acumen to create HR tactical plans that enable the businesses to fulfill their goals and drive growth
  • Ensure communication of HR policies and standards that support management decisions and align with labor legislation
  • Drive change management and support line managers to execute organizational changes

Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a Senior HR business partner role in an international and matrix environment ideally acquired in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Track record of dealing effectively in a multicultural environment typically gained through regional roles and/or location in foreign countries
  • Great communicator, including influencing skills and effective relationship builder at all management levels
  • Very strong analytical skills, eye for details and ability to translate data into meaningful insights to shape recommendations and decisions
  • Highly proficient in project planning, be highly organized, have an ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate composure and resiliency in times of uncertainty and under stress.
  • Ability to fluctuate between strategic HR partnership and being operationally hands-on.
  • Effective team player who demonstrates passion for making a positive difference
  • Bring process mindset to discussions in terms of level of detail and solution focus
  • A passion and/or prior experiences in the fields of talent management or learning & development is required
  • Excellent knowledge of Social Security and Labor Law
  • Fluent in English. Any other European languages a strong plus.
  • University degree in Human Resources, Social Science, Business Administration or similar
  • A global mindset and the ability to work & collaborate with different functions and cultures, to deliver results
