More than 1 billion people globally live with obesity, a significant leading indicator of many preventable chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.

Eucalyptus is the company behind Juniper , one of the world’s largest weight management programs combining GLP-1 medication with a tailored nutrition and exercise programme, supported by our multidisciplinary care team of prescribers, health coaches, dietitians, nurses and pharmacists.

Our published clinical research demonstrates that our combined approach to weight management and lifestyle change increases the likelihood of our patients losing significant weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times.

Since launching, we’ve grown fast to support millions of patients. In the last 12 months:

  • We grew the size of our patient base by 10x in the UK, received selective NICE endorsement for our holistic approach to obesity management, and grew our team from 50 to 200.
  • Globally, we grew revenue by >120% YoY, while reducing cash burned by 90% YoY, with over $100M USD raised from global investors such as BOND, NewView, Blackbird and Airtree - early backers of companies like Canva, Stripe, Uber and Airbnb.

What’s next?

In 2025, we are charting the path to support hundreds of thousands of patients while launching into new conditions, demographics, and geographies as we move towards our vision of creating a preventive healthcare ecosystem.

We’re building the world’s largest international digital healthcare company. This will be highly challenging, very rewarding and the adventure of a lifetime, working with the best operators you will ever encounter.

If that gets you excited, let’s talk!

About the Role

We’re looking for a sharp, commercially-minded finance leader to own our UK financial strategy and lay the foundations for European expansion.

You’ll be theright hand to our VP of Operations UK, acting as the central voice on performance, forecasting, and financial decision-making. From CAC and contribution margin to free cash flow and scenario planning — you’ll be responsible for turning financial insight into action.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional leaders across growth, operations, product, and care to shape the UK’s financial trajectory, while ensuring the business runs efficiently and invests wisely. This is a high-trust, high-impact role where the stakes — and the pace — are high.

While this role is UK-focused today, it has clear runway to grow into a broader European leadership role as we expand across new markets and business lines.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Own the UK financial model— Build and manage end-to-end models for revenue, CAC, LTV, margin, and free cash flow. Your outputs will guide day-to-day decisions and long-term bets.

Lead the planning process— Drive monthly re-forecasting, annual planning, and scenario modelling in close collaboration with Group FP&A.

Be the commercial partner to growth and ops— Set CAC and payback targets, assess performance by cohort, and guide spend allocation to maximise ROI.

Run commercial analysis that unlocks growth— Lead deep dives into pricing, retention, margin, and expansion levers to identify opportunities and recommend trade-offs.

Make the numbers visible— Build dashboards and trackers for key UK performance metrics (e.g. contribution margin, CAC, LTV, cash flow), keeping the business tightly aligned.

Ensure clean, accurate financial operations— Partner with Group Finance on reconciliations, cost allocation, and timely month-end closes.

Build for scale— Design financial systems and insights that don’t just serve the UK, but become the blueprint for future markets.

About YouSkills & Experience

6+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, consulting, or banking, with experience in high-growth or tech-enabled businesses.

Proven experience owningP&L and end-to-end planning processes— ideally in a business with both consumer and operational complexity.

Deep understanding ofCAC, LTV, payback, cash flow dynamics, and how these fuel long-term value creation.

Highly proficient inGoogle Sheets / Excel(bonus points for SQL, Looker, NetSuite, or similar tools).

Strong commercial instincts — you're as comfortable in the numbers as you are helping teams make smart, trade-off decisions.

Youmove fastand bias toward action, even without perfect information.

You bring astrong point of view, but you’re open to challenge and new ideas.

You get energy frommessy, complex problemsand know how to bring structure and clarity.

Youown outcomes, not just analysis — you want to see your insights drive performance.

You’re calm under pressure, confident with ambiguity, and committed to delivering impact.

How to Find Hidden Biotechnology Jobs in the UK Using Professional Bodies like the RSB, BIA, BioIndustry Association & More

The UK biotechnology sector is thriving. From cutting-edge gene therapies and synthetic biology to bio-manufacturing and agricultural innovation, the demand for skilled biotech professionals continues to grow. Yet many of the best opportunities—particularly in early-stage companies, startups, and research-intensive roles—are never listed on conventional job boards. So where do these hidden biotech jobs live? Often, they’re shared through word-of-mouth, member networks, or professional communities—especially those associated with leading biotech institutions and associations. Whether you’re a graduate looking for your first role, a research scientist ready to move into industry, or a regulatory professional seeking your next challenge, joining the right professional bodies can give you exclusive access to job leads, collaborations, and insider opportunities. In this article, we’ll show you how to strategically leverage UK-based organisations such as the Royal Society of Biology (RSB), BioIndustry Association (BIA), and Biotech and Life Sciences Networks to uncover hidden jobs and build a long-term, sustainable career in biotechnology.

How to Get a Better Biotechnology Job After a Lay-Off or Redundancy

Being made redundant from a biotechnology role can come as a shock, especially when your work involves complex research, innovation, and long development cycles. Whether due to funding cuts, mergers, shifting priorities in pharma or medtech, or economic turbulence, redundancies in biotech are becoming more common. But this doesn’t have to be the end of your career trajectory. In fact, many professionals go on to find better, more rewarding roles after a redundancy. With the UK’s biotech sector still growing rapidly across life sciences, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, biomanufacturing, and synthetic biology, new opportunities are emerging every day. This guide will help you bounce back with purpose. From mental reset and CV refresh to recruiter outreach and sector-specific job search tips, here’s how to turn redundancy into a career upgrade.

Biotech Jobs Salary Calculator 2025: Pinpoint Your True Worth in the UK Life‑Sciences Market

Why yesterday’s salary guide won’t cut it in today’s biotech landscape “Could I earn more elsewhere?” Every life‑sciences professional has whispered that question—perhaps after seeing a colleague jump to a new start‑up for a chunky raise, or hearing that a peer at a rival pharma company pocketed a surprise bonus. Yet finding a credible benchmark in biotechnology is harder than ever. The sector morphs daily: gene‑therapy breakthroughs spawn new manufacturing lines, government funds pour into north‑of‑England cell‑&‑gene hubs, & Covid‑era mRNA expertise now permeates vaccine, oncology, & even agritech pipelines. Pay bands move with each development; a salary survey printed last year is already a museum piece. To clear the fog, BiotechnologyJobs.co.uk has reverse‑engineered a straightforward, three‑factor formula that estimates an accurate 2025 salary for UK‑based biotech professionals in seconds. Feed in your role, your region, & your seniority, and you’ll have a solid figure to anchor your next pay review or job‑offer negotiation. This article spells out the formula, spotlights the forces driving wages upward, & lays out practical steps to boost your market value over the next 90 days.
