GMP Production Manufacturing Technician Opportunity – Oxford
Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has been created due to company growth. My client a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Production Manufacturing Technician based in Oxford where you will be working in a Grade B and Grade C GMP clean room manufacturing environment making TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) as allocated on the production planning system to cGMP and ISO standards.
This hours of work are Monday to Friday – 10.00 am-6.00 pm with occasional 7.00 am-3.00 pm and 3.00 pm-11.00 pm shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • To assemble raw materials and ingredients for compounding sterile products
  • To manufacture live saving products in accordance to approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) manually and using a compounder
  • To assist in the preparation of sterile products, their labelling, packaging and dispatch
  • To replenish stock and rotate stock
  • To perform visual inspection of finished products
  • Ensure a high quality of service to the customer and adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures
  • To perform and record all cleaning for the equipment, areas of work and supplies as and when required as defined in the relevant SOP’s and in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice
  • Ensure adequate and appropriate stocks of equipment and supplies
  • Perform pre-compounding, compounding and post-compounding checks.
    This is a 6 months contract role, which will be reviewed for a potential extension or go permanent however this is all dependent on the individual and business performance.
    The PAYE rate is £14.04 per hour.
    Skills:

  • GCSE English and Maths – Grade C or above.
  • Ideally pharmaceutical / medical device GMP production / manufacturing / operator experience, in a clean room environment.
  • PC literate and numerate.
