We are currently seeking an Executive Director of Business Development to join our diverse and dynamic team. As an Executive Director of Business Development at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth initiatives, interpreting complex medical data, and contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.
What you will be doing
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive business development strategies to expand market presence and increase revenue streams.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with organizational objectives, leveraging industry trends and market insights.
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within biotech.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that address client needs and differentiate ICON's offerings.
Monitor competitor activities, market dynamics, and regulatory trends to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience in business development, sales, or client management within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry.
Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing complex deals, driving revenue growth, and exceeding targets.
Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational objectives and deliver exceptional results.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels of the organization.
