Due to internal progression in our Meetings Management Life Sciences division we are looking for an Events Team Supervisor / Project Director to join and lead one of our client dedicated teams. You will have expertise in end-to-end event delivery across a multitude of event formats and client industry sectors within the UK and Overseas. You thrive on delivering, collaborating across teams / departments, supporting and mentoring team members to exceed your clients’ expectations. As an Events Team Supervisor, you will:
Lead, mentor and develop a team – including line management of Senior Event Project Managers & Project Managers
Ownership and day to day responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of event projects assigned to you and your team ensuring all internal / external KPI’s and SLAs are achieved
As part of the operations leadership team, you will collaborate with peers in resource planning including project allocation, training and development of the wider team
Support as required in recruitment for new team members
Ensure seamless service delivery and quality across multiple operational centres
Communication – listening, written and verbal - able to interpret our client’s objectives to be delivered into all aspects of their event, help translate this to across the team
Previous mentoring and/or line management experience
Ability to instil confidence in your clients that we are experts in our field
Proven end to end UK and overseas event delivery experience including large scale / complex in-person and hybrid for a variety of client industry sectors
Proven meeting technology and delegate registration knowledge and expertise
Excellent attention to detail and budgeting management skills
Proficient in Microsoft office applications
Ability to react, think on your feet, offer solutions, work on multiple priorities / timelines at once
Ability to travel in the UK and Overseas
You might also have:
Experience of delivering pharmaceutical events is advantageous
Experience of pharmaceutical compliance is advantageous
Virtual meeting platform and event mobile app experience
You should know:
Role is UK remote based – you will be required to go to our offices on occasion for team / company meetings
Our core business hours are 0900-1730 hours
You must have the ability to travel within the UK and Overseas, this may include weekends
You must have the right to work in the UK
