Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager

Great Yarmouth | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Full-Time


About the Role:

Are you a passionate HSE professional ready to lead safety and sustainability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join a growing pharmaceutical client in Great Yarmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and drive a safety-first culture in a business committed to excellence and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and evolve the site’s HSE strategy and systems.

• Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation, including CoSHH and DSEAR.

• Maintain the Legal Register and monitor regulatory changes.

• Drive risk reduction initiatives and lead incident investigations.

• Deliver HSE training and awareness campaigns.

• Oversee environmental compliance and industrial hygiene programs.

• Actively contribute to the wider group’s HSE forum and initiatives.


What You’ll Bring:

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or process environment.

• Strong knowledge of UK HSE regulations and risk assessment practices.

• Experience developing Environmental Management Systems.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to drive change.
