Engineering Manager (Oil & Gas)

Remote Based - Site Travel Across Northern England and Scotland

£65,000 + 15% Bonus + Vehicle + Development + Death in Service + Enhanced Pension + Further Benefits!

Are you from an electrical, controls and instrumentation background and looking to join a growing company where you will be able to progress your career by playing a key role in their new in-house engineering team?

Do you have experience within a process engineering industry and want to further develop your skills within the oil & gas sector?

This company are one of the UK's leading distributors of oil for both households and businesses. With nearly 100 depots across the UK, they are currently in a period of growth and now looking to recruit an Engineering Manager to join their team and help them continue with their growth.

In this role the successful candidate will oversee breakdowns, faults, maintenance and remedial works for the company's depots across Northern England and Scotland. They will work closely with the Head of Engineering on strategy and help develop more junior members of staff. This will be a remote based role with site travel across the Northern England and Scotland.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical, controls and instrumentation and experience working within a process and hazardous industry such as oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG etc. They must also have a full driving license and be located in Northern England or Scotland with flexibility to travel to sites across that area.

The Role:

  • Oversee breakdowns, faults, maintenance and remedial works for depots across Northern England and Scotland

    The Person

  • Background in electrical, controls and instrumentation
  • Experience working within a process and hazardous industry such as oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG etc
  • Located in Northern England or Scotland
  • Happy to travel to sites across Northern England and Scotland
  • Full UK driving license
