About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join our dynamic project delivery team. You will be responsible for the coordination, management, and successful delivery of electrical packages on complex construction or infrastructure projects. This role requires strong leadership, excellent technical knowledge, and proven experience in managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams within a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical systems and installations across the project lifecycle

Manage subcontractors and ensure work is delivered to specification, on schedule, and within budget

*

Liaise with project management, engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical works

*

Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and installation plans

*

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, health and safety regulations, and client requirements

*

Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks

*

Monitor progress, prepare reports, and escalate risks or delays as needed

Key Requirements

*

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline

*

Minimum 5+ years experience in electrical project/package management on large-scale construction, infrastructure, or energy projects (e.g., data centres, hospitals, commercial developments, industrial sites)

*

Proven experience managing high-voltage (HV), low-voltage (LV), and building systems (e.g., lighting, fire alarms, BMS) packages

*

Strong working knowledge of current electrical standards, IEE regulations, and health & safety legislation

*

Proficient in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit is a plus)

*

Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

*

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

*

Professional certifications (e.g., CEng, IEng, or similar chartered status)

*

Experience in mission-critical environments (e.g., data centres, pharmaceuticals, power generation)

*

Knowledge of commissioning and handover processes

*

Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or developers
