The engineering team is multi-disciplinary and works together across full project lifecycles. You’ll be designing and developing electrical systems and controls — everything from schematics and layouts to BOMs and documentation — using EPLAN. The role spans the full lifecycle, from initial spec to occasional site commissioning. You’ll work closely with mechanical, software, and process engineers to deliver integrated solutions to regulated clients.

*

Hybrid working (home on Wednesdays and Fridays)

*

Flexible hours, with a 1pm finish on Fridays

*

25 days holiday + bank holidays + 3-day Christmas shutdown

*

*

Legal & General pension (4% employer / 4% employee)

*

Death in service (4x salary)

RAC breakdown cover

You'll need:

*

Experience designing industrial electrical systems

*

Proficiency in CAD (EPLAN preferred)

*

Understanding of control systems and ideally some knowledge of pneumatics

*

Comfortable with regulated environments.

*

Willingness to occasionally travel for commissioning or support

*

Willingness to support on-site testing and occasional UK/international travel

This is a unique opportunity to work on equipment that makes a real-world difference, in a company that looks after its people. If that sounds like your thing, get in touch.

You could be right for this Electrical Design Engineer position if you've previously worked as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Proejct Engineer, Electrical Systems Engineer, Control Panel Design Engineer, Electrical CAD Engineer and Electrical and Controls Engineer.
