TriloDocs is an innovative AI-powered platform transforming how medical writing and regulatory documentation is done in the pharmaceutical industry. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for a seasoned commercial leader to shape and drive our go-to-market strategy globally.

The Role

We are seeking a Director of Marketing and Business Development with 10+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or medical writing industry. You will bring a strong industry network, deep sector knowledge, and a passion for translating cutting-edge technology into scalable commercial success.

You will lead our marketing and business development efforts, driving brand awareness, building strategic partnerships, generating high-value leads, and overseeing customer acquisition and retention. You will work closely with the founders, product, and medical teams to develop market-specific strategies, positioning TriloDocs as the leading AI platform in this space.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive TriloDocs’ commercial strategy in pharmaceutical and medical writing markets

• Identify and pursue growth opportunities in key regions (UK, EU, US)

• Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing plans

• Represent TriloDocs at conferences, industry events, and partner meetings

• Build and lead a small commercial team as we scale

• Collaborate with product and medical experts to refine value propositions and messaging

• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with CROs, pharma companies, and medical writing agencies

• Track industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback to inform strategy

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or commercial leadership in pharma, CRO, or related SaaS sectors

• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams or external partners

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Deep understanding of the clinical development lifecycle and regulatory processes

• Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce), sales automation tools, and market intelligence platforms (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus

• Experience working in or selling into the medical writing or clinical documentation industry is highly desirable

• Comfortable with hybrid work (office in London) and international travel

• Confident and credible in C-level conversations

• Fluent in English; other languages (e.g., German, French) are a plus
