About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and organizedBusiness Operations Directorto join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the company’s strategic initiatives by driving operational excellence, coordinating board meetings, and overseeing high-impact projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and contribute to the organization’s growth and efficiency.

What you will do:

Operational Excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Analyze current operational workflows and identify areas for optimization; work with departments to implement improvements.

Strategic Project Management

  • Oversee and manage strategic projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables, ensuring all teams are aligned and informed.

  • Develop and manage project plans, monitor progress, and adjust resources and timelines as needed to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions.

Key Meetings Coordination

  • Support on the preparation of board meeting materials for board and executive leadership meetings.

  • Gather and organize reports, presentations, and briefing documents for board members.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between teams, facilitating clear communication and collaboration on shared initiatives.

  • Support project management efforts, ensuring key projects stay on track and meet deadlines.

What is needed to succeed:

  • Leadership experience delivering complex project with senior stakeholders (e.g. as Engagement Manager of a strategy consulting firm)

  • Strong project management skills in complex scenarios, including experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project).

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

  • Strong presenter, both in person and virtually
