Job Title: Business Development Director (Nordics)


Hartmann Young are partnering with a rapidly-growing pre-clinical Contract Research Organisation specialising in biological drug discovery services across the pharmaceutical and biotech space. Leading the charge in their European commercial expansion, they are seeking a BD Director responsible for the strategic territory of the Nordics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned Nordic territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies through networking, cold outreach, and conferences.
  • Meet or exceed yearly sales targets through proactive client engagement and lead generation.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the company’s scientific platforms and service offerings.
  • Organise and lead meetings between client stakeholders and scientific leadership.


Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline (MSc / PhD preferred).
  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in biological drug discovery services.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and secured revenue.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned geographical territory.
  • Plentiful experience with CRM systems.
  • Existing Pharma / Biotech network within the Nordic region.
