The Director, Danaher Operating Company Strategic Partnerships is a key member of the Strategy and Strategic Partnerships Leadership Team, responsible for developing the use of Abcam’s affinity reagent portfolio, research insights, and commercial capabilities for proteomic research in partnership with other Danaher Operating Companies.

This position reports to the Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships and is part of the Strategic Partnerships team, located in Waltham, MA or Cambridge, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership to accelerate proteomics revenue growth through collaboration with Danaher operating companies.
  2. Develop standard work for collaboration with Danaher operating companies.
  3. Support the generation and management of opportunities with Danaher partners, focusing on growth areas using affinity reagents, proteomics assays, and related products/services.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Product, Ops, Commercial, Legal/Regulatory, Finance, LSIG Group, and Danaher Corporate teams to prioritize and structure projects for maximum strategic value.
  5. Ensure compliance with internal processes and legal requirements.
  6. Manage multiple projects using DBS tools, maintaining clear communication with cross-functional teams and management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • MSc or Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in strategic project management within the life sciences industry, with a proven track record.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication, commercial acumen, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using DBS tools to foster partnerships and innovation.

Additional Information:

  • Travel up to 50% (domestic and international).
