Job Description:

RBW Consulting is seeking a Director of Clinical Development specializing in Pediatric Hepatology to join a mid-sized pharmaceutical client. The ideal candidate must be a Pediatric Hepatologist with at least 3 years of experience in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading global clinical development operations.
  • Developing asset teams for new compound uses.
  • Providing medical and scientific input on product data.
  • Leading the Clinical Development sub-team.
  • Ensuring compliance with GCP and ethical guidelines.
  • Managing cross-functional relationships.
  • Supporting multiple indications globally.

Main Duties:

  • Preparing and executing clinical trial documents.
  • Overseeing clinical trials for efficiency and safety.
  • Providing medical monitoring and support.
  • Maintaining relationships with medical experts.

Education & Experience:

  • Medical degree (MD) or equivalent in life sciences.
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical drug development.
  • Experience in rare diseases or hepatology preferred.
  • Proven leadership in projects and teams.
  • Objective-driven and solution-oriented.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a global matrix organization.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
