As Business Development Director, you plan and execute sales activity to ensure new business development and client retention that support the long-term growth plans of the Company. As a direct selling producer, you will develop meaningful client relationships and effectively position and sell the Company’s full suite of strategic resourcing services. As an expert in the industries we serve and a brand ambassador of the Company, you share our value proposition and drive engagement with prospects and clients that further our reputation and market presence. A successful Business Development Director is an excellent communicator and skilled at developing relationships, while being highly self-motivated and working collaboratively in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:
Sales Activity
Identify and develop meaningful client relationships through meetings, discovery, and diagnosis of business issues and problems
Develop new client relationships through effective daily planning, prospecting, cold calling, and appointment setting.
Conduct prospecting and outreach to drive weekly sales activity that will lead to achieving annual personal sales and gross profit goals
Utilize a consultative approach to establishing business rapport with clients, with a key emphasis on delivering quality services and business results

Client Management and Retention
Partner closely with the Delivery team to engage on and fulfill strategic resourcing and project opportunities. Work collaboratively to provide qualified opportunities to Delivery.
Nurture client relationships to support the ongoing satisfaction and retention of clients.
Ensure timely input of all sales activities in company tools and analyze data to make informed business decisions
Take the time to listen and understand our clients’ challenges to collaborate on the right solution for current & future business opportunities.
Expand business relationships within each client via referrals to new departments while exceeding client expectations to increase the number of referrals.

REAL Teamwork
As Director, acts as a positive leader and cultural influence to colleagues in sales and delivery.
Work with Delivery to ensure recruiting activities complement sales activity.
Build relationships with colleagues and communicate frequently on open requisitions and upcoming client needs.
Work with the team toward meeting the overall department revenue and profitability goals.
Share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations with coworkers.
Always represent the team professionally and ethically. Know and comply with the current Advanced Group policies, procedures, handbook, and demonstrate REAL values.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 8+ years of successful Sales experience preferably selling a service offering. Experience in the Clinical Research/Drug development or Food & Beverage industry is a plus.
Experience prospecting, targeting, closing, and account management.
Ability to thrive in a metrics driven environment meeting revenue / GP goals.
Must have a high sense of urgency and self-confidence while working in a results-oriented environment.
Demonstrated use deductive reasoning, research skills, and decision-making skills to solve problems and enhance results.
Ability to independently organize work to meet established objectives.
Driven to become the best in the industry through association involvement, continuous learning, and networking.
Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and verbally, both in one-on-one and in-group presentation situations with all levels of staff.

Pay Rate: £59,387.76 - £72,750.00 - £86,112.24 Annually
