STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Digital Marketing Lead

We are thrilled to announce a newly created role for a Digital Marketing Lead, responsible for developing and implementing SEO and SEA strategies to increase organic and paid search visibility, drive traffic, and improve conversion rates for our consumer healthcare products. The role will also oversee content creation and manage one direct report (Content Asset Creator). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search engine optimization, search engine advertising, digital marketing strategies, and analytics.

How You Will Make An Impact

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic, conducting keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization and new content creation.
Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities, including link building, meta tag optimization, and technical SEO, collaborating with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital content.
Develop and manage SEA campaigns to complement organic search efforts, overseeing the creation and distribution of high-quality, engaging, SEO-optimized content across digital channels, including websites, blogs, and social media.
Utilise analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to track and report on key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights on SEO and SEA performance and ROI, including recommendations for improvement.
Lead and mentor a content creator, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CHC-Rx Marketing, eCommerce, Global digital team, Corporate Communications, and Customer Services to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Develop and manage the SEO/SEA marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources, monitoring spending, and optimizing campaigns to maximize return on investment.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and SEA trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices, attending industry conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and network with peers.

What We Are Looking For

Educated to a degree level in Marketing, Business, Communications, at grade 2:1 or above, or a related field, preferred but not mandatory, and have 3-5 years of experience in SEO, SEA, and digital marketing.
A proven track record of successfully managing and executing SEO and SEA campaigns, with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and paid search strategies.
Proficient in SEO and SEA tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
A creative thinker who can develop innovative content ideas, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and can meet deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and influencing skills and able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
Ability to manage your own workload, adhering to project timelines and perform critical thinking to overcome the challenges of the transition project.
Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
