Customs & Trade Regulations Analyst – Homebased
Opportunity:
This is a great opportunity for a Customs & Trade Regulations Analyst to develop your career for a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
Do you have experience in import and export operations in the UK and Ireland? Do you have experience of Customs and other governing agency laws and regulations? Have you got experience of implementing a global trade compliance program? Looking for a contract role with an exciting global pharmaceutical company? If yes then this is the role for you.
Your role as a Customs & Trade Regulations Analyst will involve coordinating compliance for the UK / and Irish import and export activities to maintain a high standard of compliance with International Trade, Customs and Other Government Agency laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Providing advanced support to the International Trade and Customs operations in the UK and Ireland.
  • Driving standardization and documentation of post-Brexit import/export processes and internal control procedures.
  • Providing direct support to local teams and brokers in case of issues with new clearance processes.
  • Responsible for the identification and mitigation plan related to customs duty exposure.
  • Responsible for the identification and implementation of new customs obligations.
  • Sustaining the companies AEO Certification in the UK.
    This is a 12 months contract role which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent but this is all dependent on the individual and business performance. This is a role fully remote based home with travel to the company sites as and when required.
    The PAYE rate is is £40.00 - £46.68 per hour.
    Skills:
    To apply for role of Customs & Trade Regulations Analyst you will have the following:
  • Working and legal knowledge of Customs and Trade Compliance Regulations (incl. Tariff, origin and valuation).
  • Experience with UK and Ireland customs related activities, incl. the management of specific authorizations (ex. EIDR, SDP) and local platforms (CHIEF, TSS and ROS).
  • Experience working with brokers and management of customs control tower.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards).
