Job title: Corporate Development Analyst

Reporting to:Vice President, Corporate Development

Department:Corporate Development

Location:Hybrid with 2-3 days per week in our Holborn office, depending on location

The Role

Responsible for market intelligence and data analysis of potential acquisition opportunities, including in-licensing and M&A targets. Will manage search and screening activities, build target tier lists, and develop communication plans to support proactive management of high-priority prospects.

Responsibilities

Live the CNX Values. Maintain high standards of ethics and support the company's pioneering approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).

  • Market Research & Analysis:Conduct in-depth research and analysis of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential target companies and assets to identify growth opportunities.
  • Product Evaluation:Project manage the product evaluation process and lead the evaluation of selected opportunities.
  • Opportunity Analysis:Analyze new product opportunities and recommend which should proceed to CNX's product evaluation process.
  • Outreach:Contact and liaise with potential partners with suitable product opportunities for licensing or acquisition.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams to assess strategic fit and operational impact of potential deals.
  • Presentation Preparation:Create clear and compelling presentations for senior management and board discussions.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:Maintain a tracker for corporate development opportunities and KPIs.

Desired Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Analyst in a commercial setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry is essential.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively communicate with all company levels, including C-suite.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with databases such as IQVIA, GlobalData.
  • Experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
