Job Title:

Associate Solutions Consultant – Specialist Share Data (SSD)


Job Purpose:

The Associate Solutions Consultant is a key member of the Specialist Share Data (SSD) team and is critical to the ongoing competitiveness of the business which will underpin ambitious growth plans. As Associate Solutions Consultant, you will assist in all aspects from data collection, production and analysis, to pre-sales and post sales consultation and service delivery relating to new and existing business for our SSD offering, working closely with HSJ Information’s pharmaceutical clients.


It is essential that the person carrying out this position understands key customer needs, ensures timely delivery, communicates the value Specialist Share Data delivers, and helps create a strategic development pipeline into the future.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the production of SSD reports by
  • Facilitating and conducting data collection to support the delivery of SSD reports
  • Designing data collection surveys to accurately collect data on market insights in the UK healthcare market
  • Working with the data collection team to improve data quality
  • Managing data production processes for designated therapy areas
  • Creating, updating and delivering client reports
  • Peer-reviewing reports created by other team-members
  • Assisting the wider SSD team as required to meet reporting deadlines


  • Ensure client satisfaction with the offering by
  • Seeking client feedback and ensuring this is reflected in the design of data collection
  • Presenting the deliverable to clients, ensuring it is embedded in their business and the maximum level of insight is attained
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, helping address queries, gather feedback, and enhance satisfaction.
  • Conduct any ad-hoc analysis with SSD data as required by clients to support in insight generation.


  • Assist in the achievement of the Specialist Share Data targets, by
  • Working with the Commercial team and Clients to understand the true customer needs.
  • Working with the sales team to develop a pipeline of opportunities
  • Become a subject matter expert for the offering, delivering client presentations and supporting in pre-sale meetings
  • Focus attention on converting projects into syndicated solutions with multiple sales opportunities


Essential

  • UK Healthcare data experience – strong analytical, visualisation, presentation skills
  • Familiarity with UK healthcare sector - data, commercial drivers, or customer groups
  • Strong Knowledge of Excel and other MS office products
  • Curious, analytical mindset – solution and data driven problem solving
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both presenting and listening
  • Manage on-time work delivery in an environment with competing priorities

  • Ensure deliverables are on time and the appropriate quality
  • Be recognized internally as expert in the data set
  • To be the go to person for a set of our clients
  • Successfully contribute to commercial growth through collaborating with the sales team
