About the Practice:


A well-established, community-focused GP practice delivering outstanding patient care through a multidisciplinary approach. The clinical team includes GPs, Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Care Coordinators, Health & Wellbeing Coaches, and Social Prescribers, all working together to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Locums are welcomed as part of the team, with access to resources, clinical support, and a culture of shared learning.


Essential Requirements:


  • Vocational Masters degree in Pharmacy
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Independent Prescribing (V300) qualification (mandatory)
  • Minimum 6 months' primary care experience in a GP practice, urgent care, or walk-in centre (mandatory)
  • Proven locum experience in a primary care setting
  • Strong skills in triage, diagnosis, prescribing, medicines management and patient-facing consultations
  • Familiarity with SystmOne (mandatory)
  • Experience working with dispensary services, clinical pharmacy, and medicines information
  • Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one
  • Able to provide evidence of relevant qualifications and registration


Role Details:


  • Flexible sessions up to 5 days per week
  • Morning and afternoon shifts available between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
  • Extended hours available for additional sessions, if desired
  • Long-term locum contracts for interested candidates
  • Comprehensive onboarding to help you settle in quickly
  • Minimal admin burden and robust team support
