Overview

Compass Associates are proud to be partnered with a specialist provider of Supported Living and Complex Homecare services, to recruit for a Clinical Lead. This newly created role forms part of the organisation’s growth strategy and focuses on clinical governance and the leadership of a well-established Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team.

This provider supports younger adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and complex behavioural needs across a range of community services. They are in a strong period of organic growth following several acquisitions and are now seeking a senior nurse leader to strengthen governance processes and elevate clinical practice across the group.

This role offers a clear and exciting progression path, with succession planning in place to develop into a Director of Supported Living post.

Location:

This is a hybrid position requiring travel across services in Essex, with home or office-based work. The head office is located in Colchester, making the role commutable from Chelmsford, Ipswich, Braintree, Southend, Cambridge, Basildon, Romford and surrounding areas.

Criteria

Registered Nurse (RNLD, RMN or RGN) with valid NMC PIN
Background in specialist Learning Disability or secure/forensic care settings
Strong understanding of PBS frameworks and their practical application
Previous experience managing geographically dispersed clinical or PBS teams
In-depth knowledge of clinical governance, incident management and regulatory compliance
Confident working across multi-site services and collaborating with senior leadership

Responsibilities Include

Strategic oversight of clinical governance across services and drive quality assurance
Lead, support and develop a specialist PBS team (Practitioners, Lead and front-line staff)
Act as clinical escalation point for complex case reviews and incidents
Embed PBS practices and lead a culture of continuous improvement

Salary And Benefits

£70,000 – £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
