Are you a highly effective and results-oriented Chemistry teacher with a passion for ensuring students achieve their full scientific potential across all key stages, particularly at A-Level? Our Outstanding school in Hackney, East London, is seeking a dedicated specialist to inspire and guide our students to success in their Chemistry studies from Key Stage 3 to A-Level, commencing in September 2025.

In this crucial role, with a significant focus on Key Stage 5, you will:

  • Maximize Student Achievement: Be instrumental in ensuring excellent student outcomes in Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level Chemistry, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for academic success and future opportunities in higher education and beyond.

  • Deliver Engaging and Rigorous Curriculum: Utilize your expertise to deliver well-structured and challenging lessons that align with the demands of the Chemistry curricula at all key stages, fostering deep understanding of fundamental principles, reactions, and their applications.

  • Motivate and Support Learners: Work with a diverse group of students, fostering their scientific understanding and providing the necessary support to enable them to excel in all aspects of the subject, with a particular emphasis on the problem-solving and analytical demands of A-Level.

  • Collaborate within a Strong Science Department: Join a supportive and experienced team that shares best practices and works collaboratively to achieve departmental goals, including the successful delivery of a high-quality A-Level Chemistry program.

  • Utilize Excellent Resources: Have access to a wide range of resources, including well-equipped laboratories, digital technologies, and specialist equipment, to enhance your teaching and support student learning in Chemistry within the Hackney context, especially at Key Stage 5.
