An exciting new position has become available to oversee and maintain pricing and category requirements for a new grocery Supermarket channel within Phoenix servicing a major national chain, Asda.

Reporting to the Generic Category Manager the position will be tasked with ensuring that the correct pricing profiles are in place with the appropriate product cascades both within the generic category but also cross-category to meet Asda’s requirements. The position will be a pivotal one in terms of communication between key internal stakeholders and the account to provide outstanding service and meet all expectations whilst interrogating data to deliver negotiated pricing and levels of discount to Asda and maximise Phoenix’s return on the business in turn.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working within the supply chain and commercial processes of large organisations
  • Evidence of having developed and maintained pricing and buying strategies and propositions
  • Strong communication skills, able to work with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated
