Are you a CAD Technician with a background in the Fabrication, Welding or Mechanical Machining industries looking to join an industry leading manufacturer where you will play a pivotal part in this thriving business, with excellent technical training opportunities and the opportunity to work on all aspects unique technical projects?
This is a fantastic opportunity join a well established local business, where you will enjoy a highly varied and exciting position contributing to the end to end completion of unique engineering based products/ projects, as well as having the chance to progress technically in your career within a company that has a fantastic working environment and pushes work life balance.
This company are a leader within their field, delivering innovative products to pharmaceutical, maritime and off-shore, manufacturing and renewable energy companies across the globe. You'll be joining at an excellent time as they look to expand their production department.
In this role you will be responsible for the intake of client project specifications, the quotations for the projects, creating CAD based product drawings and weld maps alongside the production team and then processing the requested orders whilst looking at ways to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
The role would suit a CAD Technician with a background in the Fabrication, Welding or Mechanical Machining industries looking to join a leading manufacturer with the chance to work on variety of technical projects .
The Role:

  • CAD Technician (Fabrication/ Projects)
  • Working on end to end project with clients
  • Creating product specifications, drawings and weld maps for production
  • Work with a variety of production teams and senior staff
  • Monday to Friday, 39 hrs - Flexible working

The Person:

  • CAD Technician for a welding, fabrication or manual machining background or Welder/ Fabricator with CAD skills
  • AutoCAD Understanding and experience
  • Looking for work life balance and a great team environment
  • Commutable from Bodmin, Liskeard, St.Austell, Newquay, Wadebridge and surrounding areas
