About the role

As Business Transformation Associate, you will work with the Senior Director of Business Transformation and VP of Business Transformation to implement and manage strategic & business transformation projects. You will use your expertise to ensure actions are completed, partnering with our business leaders in project management and key initiative implementation. You will drive standardisation of reporting and governance across all strategic and transformation projects.

This is a vital, high-visibility role within our organisation in which you will make an impact on key business initiatives from day one. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous Management Consulting experience, ideally from within a Big Four consultancy firm and/or an IT consultancy, who is looking to take the next step in their career.

This role is a split between remote working and working approximately 1-2 days per week in our Nottingham or London offices. It is important you can travel to both offices, as you may be required to work from either office depending on business needs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage strategic & business transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate governance and reporting across strategic projects.
  • Work directly with business leaders to support major business initiatives and/or transformation.
  • Contribute towards the development & implementation of governance and frameworks within the Business Transformation team.
  • Obtain, collate, analyse and present information to inform executive decision making.
  • Conduct research, analyse data, and synthesize information into actionable insights.
  • Act as first point of contact between different departments & stakeholders in strategic initiatives and projects. Manage key stakeholders and challenge where required.
  • Prepare and review communications, presentations and reports for the Business Transformation team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Management Consulting experience, ideally gained within a Big 4 consultancy or IT consultancy.
  • Experience in project managing strategic business initiatives and business transformation.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with previous experience of working cross-functionally with leadership.
  • Strong business acumen with a good understanding of business operations, financial principles, and strategic planning.
  • Good financial acumen with an understanding of management reporting and financial reports; ability to analyse and assess financial impact of projects / changes.
  • Ability to conduct research, analyse data, and synthesize information into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
  • Strong problem solving skills with a logical approach to provide insights and options to strategic and transformation challenges.
  • Previous Life Sciences experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Experience within Mergers and Acquisitions is helpful but not essential.
