The Role

The Veeva Basic Sales team is seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Representative (BDR) who is eager to unearth opportunities and connect emerging life sciences companies with our easy solution. If you're a proactive go-getter with a knack for turning conversations into conversions, come and help us make a difference in the life sciences industry. As BDR, you will evangelize Veeva Basics to emerging biotech companies within Europe. This is a once in a career opportunity to go to market with a product customers need. This BDR role is the foundation for a successful sales career, the next step from this role being Account Partner.

What You'll Do

Work within a defined territory to generate and qualify new opportunities
Research and develop a strategic plan for opening new meetings in Europe
Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Partner closely with sales teams to advance and close opportunities
Build trusted relationships with customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right approach in emerging biotech
Coordinating marketing activities such as webinars, round tables & community events
Being the expert on our products, industry processes and culture

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience
Experience in Sales Development in Technology and/or Life Sciences
Fluent English
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Team-first mentality
Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative
BA or BS Degree (STEM, Economics, Accounting, etc.) with solid academic performance
Willingness to travel as needed (:25%)
Legally authorized to be employed in the UK without limitations or restrictions

Nice to Have

Experience in Consulting, Customer Success, or Project Management
Experience in scientific research or in clinical trials-related topics
Business language capacity in Danish and/or Swedish - any other language is a plus
