    Initial Timeline for hire:
    Screening by talent acquisition throughout July – feedback provided
    Initial interviews late July / early August
    Further and final interviews in late August
    Start in Q4 2025 with essential product training from day 1
    Position Overview:
    As a Business Development Specialist at GxPAssure (a consultancy specializing in pharmaceutical compliance), you will be responsible for helping to drive revenue growth, expanding market presence, and cultivating strong client relationships within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and related regulated industries. Your focus will be on promoting consultancy services that ensure clients achieve and maintain regulatory compliance with GMP standards, supporting their manufacturing and quality assurance.
    Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion for GMP compliance services in assigned territories
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
  • Actively prospect and qualify new business opportunities to expand the consultancy’s customer base
  • Deliver compelling presentations and technical discussions to prospective clients, clearly articulating the value and differentiation of the consultancy’s GMP compliance services
  • Assist contract negotiations and secure long-term partnerships, ensuring mutual benefit and client satisfaction
  • Represent the consultancy at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and generate leads
  • Utilise modern marketing techniques to drive interest
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities and adapt business development strategies accordingly
  • Regularly report progress, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management, providing actionable recommendations for business growth
    Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in a STEM subject)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles within a regulated sector
  • Proven track record of successful sales and revenue growth in a similar role, preferably with experience in GMP consulting or compliance services
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Knowledge and experience of using multiple communication forms such as WhatsApp and Signal
  • Knowledge and experience of managing social media marketing campaigns
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region (approximately 25%)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach
    Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Pipedrive CRM
  • Knowledge of GMP quality in the Pharmaceutical Industry (although this will be taught)
  • Ability to evaluate and communicate complex compliance requirements to clients of varying technical backgrounds
