Our clients are in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medtech, Cosmetic, Chemical industry and Academic institutions.

With our unique patented technology, we accelerate research and de-risk the development of new drugs and consumer products. As an alternative to animal testing, we empower our global customers to continue to meet stringent regulatory and ethical requirements by offering a solution that allows a much more accurate prediction of the actual clinical response.

Genoskin is seeking a success-driven/proactive Sales/BD professional to join its growing team. The full-time role will focus on developing and supporting our portfolio of partners in the United Kingdom and select countries in Northern Europe territory. This position requires working closely with our Sales, Marketing and Operation teams to advance and support the growth of the company in known and potential markets.


Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Promote the company vision and its mission
  • Responsible for sales of company designated services and products to achieve sales/revenue goals/targets set for the individual territory.
  • Expand the number of clients within set territory and various functions (R&D, study leads, executive suite, purchasing, outsourcing partners, consultants, etc.) to increase business from new and existing clients.
  • Obtain requests for proposals, engage in preparing study plans and quotes, negotiate contracts and ensure accurate terms, conditions, pricing, and configuration, following established Company guidelines.
  • Maintain communications with operations teams on customer projects from initiation, to proposals, through data delivery; as necessary to complete successful study.
  • Research technology, companies and markets to identify new business opportunities. Direct the implementation of multidisciplinary strategies to effectively manage governance processes with key pharma, bio-pharmaceutical and partners in other directly relevant spaces. Nurture client relations into larger collaborations.
  • Secure in person visit clients/customers for presentations, meetings, seminars and discussions within assigned territory to strengthen customer relations and further increase clients network.
  • Determine client needs, promptly respond to inquiries, and resolve questions in a timely fashion as a mechanism to drive Business Development.
  • Assist in the development of a sales strategy to reach sales targets in the territory. Develop and implement yearly territory business plan in assigned territory to obtain targeted growth.
  • Maintain a high level of technical competenceand utilise this knowledge to bring greater value in conducting business and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage company technical resources to provide up-to-date expert and relevant information to clients via marketing materials, R&D data, presentations or scheduling calls between client and company scientific staff.
  • Partner with marketing and MARCOM teams to implement tactical plans supporting tradeshows and other networking events. Attend conferences, seminars and industry events to represent the company and its portfolio.
  • Work with marketing to provide intel information on industry trends, client needs and competitive intel as gathered from the field
  • Partner with other members of the global Genoskin team: Sales, Scientific Director, Project Management, and Operation Leads to drive business and client collaborations.


Territory :

  • Territory assignment may change depending on business growth and needs of the company
  • 40% to 70% business travel depending on geographic territory and business need. Flexibility to accommodate travel and teleconferences outside of regular working hours
  • Client meetings and conferences within, but not limited to one’s territory
  • Team sales and company meetings
  • Manage own time, travel schedules, and expenses to maximise cost effectiveness and budget

General:

  • Timely submission of reports requested by management
  • Maintain CRM and systems (Asana) required for project management and internal communications
  • Follow set SOP’s for sales and operational processes
  • Keep to regulatory and compliance rules set forth by the company
  • Proper and timely submission of expense reports


Requirements:

  • An advanced scientific degree (M.S. and/or PhD) and demonstrated experience in laboratory research is preferred; Minimum BS in Histology, Toxicology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry
  • 3-5 years of successful sales experience as a service provider in the life science industry in the assigned territory is a plus; will consider a PhD actively seeking a commercial Biotech role
  • Demonstrated experience in driving business through collaborations with field Sales team and internal Operation teams is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of the Biotech / Pharmaceutical market and capability to analyse the business to advise the Management team about product development opportunities;
  • Exceptional communication, organisation, selling and negotiation skills is a plus
  • Experience in the implementation of tactical marketing plans
  • Must thrive working in a fast-paced, high-growth stage company that requires greater self-sufficiency and an ability to work independently to meet organizational goals
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively collaborate and influence across teams and with internal and external stakeholders
