With focus on driving sustainable growth, we are seeking a highly ambitious, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to expand GPI's footprint across the pharmaceutical sector. This role is designed for a commercial leader with a proven track record in business development in selling recurring revenue solutions and driving revenue acceleration.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will own a portfolio of strategic accounts, both new and existing, and drive revenue growth from selling new solutions and renewing and expanding existing solutions. You will be responsible for increasing account value, leading high-stakes negotiations, and securing commercial wins.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Account Expansion

  • Serve as the senior client partner, owning and expanding key accounts across pharma and biotech.
  • Execute targeted account plans to maximise client spend and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Lead high-impact client engagements, demonstrating GPI's value at senior executive level.
  • Target whitespace within existing clients to unlock new revenue streams.

Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

  • Take full ownership of commercial targets with a core focus on beating revenue goals.
  • Drive new business development within existing accounts and open new logos of strategic importance.
  • Lead proactive contract renewals, renegotiations, and expansion discussions.
  • Deliver persuasive pitches, commercial and consulting proposals aligned to client needs.


Market Positioning & Thought Leadership

Champion GPI's strategic positioning across pricing, access, and commercial strategy to stay ahead of pricing regulations, reimbursement trends, and industry disruption. Represent GPI at key industry events, expanding brand visibility.


Collaboration

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, consulting, and data teams to deliver maximum client value. Provide direct client feedback to shape innovation in GPI's solutions and services.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of success in account management, strategic sales and business development within pharmaceutical pricing, market access, or healthcare analytics.
  • Proven history of consistently exceeding commercial targets.
  • Exceptional commercial mentality with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Preferable deep industry knowledge of global pricing, reimbursement, and HTA environments.
  • Skilled at navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.
  • Strong network of senior contacts across pharma and biotech sectors.
  • Experience selling SaaS and data-driven consultative solutions.
  • Exposure to global contracting and strategic partnership development.
  • Preferable familiarity with health policy, market access, and pricing trends across major and emerging markets.
