Job Description

Due to its exceptional growth, Eurofins Central Laboratory is looking to hire a dynamic individual to join their sales team in Europe.

The Business Development Director will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring new bookings targets are met for the assigned territories and services.
  • Calling upon industry experience and abilities to initiate and develop productive relationships at all levels of complex, biopharmaceutical, and CRO organizations.
  • Generating new opportunities and securing new bookings (contracts) for Eurofins Central Labs, including clinical biomarkers and anti-infective services.
  • Acting as an advocate for prospects and active accounts to all key stakeholders within Eurofins.
  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Development, Eurofins Central Laboratory, working closely with Scientific Affairs and Proposals/Contracts teams, and collaborating with Operational Teams.

This is a remote position that can be based in any European country.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical or central laboratory, clinical trials (CRO, trial supplies/logistics, e-Clinical), or relevant B2B project service industry.
  • Proven success in securing new service contracts, demonstrating growth over your career.
  • Excellent at establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships, with a wide network of contacts.
  • Ability to set goals, plan, and influence others to achieve objectives within a timeframe of months to a year.
  • Motivated with a hunter mentality and a drive to learn.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer focus and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
  • Willing to travel for client interactions and conferences. Valid driving license required.
